The refurbished version of Galaxy Note 7, the Galaxy Note FE (aka Galaxy Note 7R), is now available for pre-order in South Korea via popular carrier LG U+.

We have some good news for all the Galaxy Note fans out there! Popular South Korean carrier LG U+ is now taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note FE (aka Galaxy Note 7R). The pricing of the phone isn’t mentioned on the website, however, it is expected to cost around KRW 700,000 that translates to about $610. According to the website, the registrations will be open until July 6. And as previously reported, the device will go on sale starting July 7.

Galaxy Note FE up for preorders via LG U+

The ‘FE’ in the Galaxy Note FE stands for ‘Fandom Edition’, and the device is essentially a refurbished and hopefully explosion-proof version of last year’s Galaxy Note 7. And thus, the former will sport the exact same specs as that of the latter, except for the battery and display resolution. The Note FE is expected to come with a smaller battery when compared to Note 7 which featured a 3500 mAh battery. It will probably house a 3200 mAh battery onboard. Also unlike the QuadHD (1440 x 2560p) display on the Note 7, the refurbished variant will feature only a FullHD (1920 x 1080p) display to supplement for the lower capacity battery.

Apart from that, the Note FE will come sporting the same octa-core Exynos 8890 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 12MP rear camera, and 5MP front-facing camera. And, it will be loaded with Samsung’s voice assistant Bixby out of the box.
