A report suggests that Sony will be launching a new phone with very slim bezels at IFA 2017 in Berlin. Also, a picture has leaked on Weibo allegedly showing off the phone.

I am pretty sure, this news will bring smiles to all Sony Xperia fans out there! After Samsung and LG, Sony is allegedly working on a phone with very slim bezels, that is expected to launch at IFA 2017 in Berlin. Adding to the authenticity of the report is a picture showing off the phone. The picture surfaced on popular micro-blogging site Weibo, earlier this morning.

As you can see in the above picture, the phone sports very thin bezels, and definitely looks very impressive. However, we don’t know much about the phone, as of now. But, we hope to receive more details about the phone in the days to come. ALSO READ: Sony temporarily pauses the Android 7.0 Nougat update for Xperia XA and XA Ultra

The leak also mentions that JDI (aka Japan Display Inc) has recently started manufacturing massive quantities of 6-inch ultra-narrow screen display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Chances are, we might probably see this display on the upcoming Sony phone, expected to launch at IFA 2016 in Berlin. The event is scheduled to start from the 1st of September and will go on until the 6th of September.
