Xiaomi’s first ever phone with a red hue is a sight to behold. Xiaomi Redmi 5X red colored variant was announced two weeks ago. However, there has been no word on its availability.

Back in August, Xiaomi announced that they will be releasing a red colored variant of their mid-range phone Mi 5X. Although the Chinese company has been mum about the new variant since the announcement, they have now released a bunch of photos showcasing the Xiaomi Mi 5X red variant. This could also mean that the release date of the new variant is around the corner.

Needless to say, the Mi 5X handset in red hue looks as stunning as the red iPhone 7, if I am to say. It’s worth noting that the bezels up front are still black like the black colored variant.

As for the specs, the Xiaomi Mi 5X has a 5.5-inch 1080p IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, and 4GB RAM. Besides that, the device is available in two storage variants, i.e., 32GB and 64GB. The camera department is handled by two 12MP sensors on the rear and a 5MP snapper on the front. It is backed by a 3080 mAh battery and runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box.

The new variant carries the same price tag as the older variants. That means you can get a red Mi 5X for just RMB 1499, provided you live in China. You can check out the complete series of pictures of the Mi 5X red colored variant via the source link below.
