Acer Swift 7 is only one millimeter thicker than the Galaxy S8.

Acer just broke their own record by unveiling the world’s thinnest laptop dubbed Acer Swift 7 at the CES show 2018. It’s an ultrabook that marks the second-generation of the Swift 7 series, started in July 2016. Mind you, this one is not just the thinnest laptop you could get, but also is one of the most powerful systems out there.

One thing I didn’t like though, is that the front-facing camera is located on the bottom bezel which is quite a hassle while making a video call. The specs are high-end; the Swift 7 features an Intel i7 CPU which, I should say, is quite an upgrade over predecessor’s i5 chip. Other than that, there is 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD storage. Acer also boasts that their new offering will provide up to 10 hours of battery life after a full charge.

In terms of connectivity, the Acer Swift 7 has got two Type C USB 3.1 ports, a headphone jack, and a nanoSIM slot. This Windows 10-powered device will go on sale starting March, and one of these bad boys will set you back a whopping $1700.

Abhin’s love for all things tech started when he got his first smartphone, Galaxy S (the first), in 2010. Since then, he has been crazy about technology and tried out all major Android flagships from Samsung, and HTC. He currently uses a Google Pixel 4a as his daily driver.
