LG V30 will launch at IFA 2017, and go on sale starting September 28

It’s worth noting that there is almost nothing we don’t know about the upcoming LG V30. We know about its specifications, features, launch date, possible design and what not! But still, there’s something we don’t know yet: When will we be able to buy the handset?

A new report from AndroidAuthority indicates that LG might be in a hurry to kick off the sales of LG V30 earlier than we thought. After launching a day before the IFA 2017, LG V30 will reportedly go on sale in the S.Korean markets starting September 15.

However, US consumers will have to wait for a while until the Korean tech giant begin pre-orders on their new phablet on September 17. Shortly after that, the device will go on sale globally on September 28, including the US and European markets.

As far as specifications are concerned, the LG V30 will allegedly feature a 6-inch edge-to-edge display with very narrow top and bottom bezels. Also, GeekBench listing has confirmed that the handset will come powered by Snapdragon 835 processor, along with 4GB of RAM. Besides, it has also stated that the device will run Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box. Other possible features include a 3,300 mAh battery, dual-13MP rear camera, rear mounted fingerprint sensor, improved DAC and more.

But, along with appealing specs, the forthcoming LG V30 is packing a few disappointments as well. Several reports are suggesting that the handset will not feature a secondary display like its predecessor. And, that’s indeed a bummer for many LG fans out there!

However, the V30 wouldn’t be a safe bet for the company as it would likely face stiff competition from the upcoming phablet Galaxy Note 8. Galaxy Note 8 will launch this August 23rd with top-notch specifications including Snapdragon 836 processor, 6GB RAM, and dual-13MP rear camera. Also, the dual camera technology on the Note 8 is rumored to be better than its competitors, so guess we have a winner already! An early launch for the Galaxy Note 8 could possibly kill the sales of the LG V30.

So are you gonna get an LG V30 handset when it goes on sale in your country? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Removable battery and expandable memory are a must……Let the others remain in the field with the rest of the sheep.
