Unlike most other workstation mini PCs in the market, ZOTAC’s new systems doesn’t suck.
Computer hardware manufacturer ZOTAC at CES 2018 unveiled three new workstation mini PCs packed with Nvidia Quadro GPUs. Make no mistake, these mini PCs are not any less powerful than their fully-blown desktop counterparts. All the three systems are powered by an Intel quad-core i5-7500T processor and available in one of the three configurations: Nvidia Quadro P1000 / 4GB GDDR5 RAM, Nvidia Quadro P3000 / 6GB GDDR5 RAM, and Nvidia Quadro P5000 / 16GB RAM.
Besides that, these devices come with all sorts of connectivity options such as Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, SD/MicroSD, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 2.0, USB 3.0 Type-A, and USB 3.0 Type-C. As far as storage is concerned, the new ZOTAC mini PCs support up to DDR4-2400 memory, packs an M.2-2280 PCIe/SATA slot for SSDs and a 2.5″ bay for connecting another storage device.
These ZOTAC mini PCs will go on sale from Q2 2018, however, the firm has not released any statements regarding the pricing of the devices.
