Amazon touts the new $229 Fire Max 11 tablet as their “most powerful tablet yet”.

If you’re in the market for a new Android tablet, we have good news! Following the recent launch of OnePlus Pad, we now have a new tablet in the market. Amazon has unveiled their new Fire Max 11 tablet featuring a 11-inch screen with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels for a starting price of $229.

The tablet is powered by octa-core MediaTek (MTK8188J) processor and 4GB of RAM. There are two storage variants — 64GB and 128GB — and the tablet supports expandable storage via microSD slot.

Photography department is handled by 8MP cameras on the front and back, and the tablet supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Other features include battery life of up to 14 hours, Dual Dolby Atmos speakers, and a 3-month trial of Microsoft 365 Personal.

You can also opt to buy the device bundled with accessories, which includes a Keyboard Case ($89.99) and Made for Amazon Stylus Pen ($34.99) for a price starting at $329.99. There is also a new slim cover that can be doubled as a stand available for $49.99.

Keep in mind, you will need to shell out an additional $15.99 over $229 starting price to have a tablet void of lock screen ads.
