Google has started rolling out the first-ever public beta build of Android 16 to users with a Pixel 6 or newer devices who signed up for Android Beta Program. There will be three more builds before we get to see the stable version according to the company, but if you’ve signed up for the beta program, you can get your hands on some of the new features including app adaptivity — the apps will now scale responsively based on your phone’s screen, Live Updates — notification widgets on the lock screen to keep you posted on running apps, some camera updates, and improved rendering support for vertically-written languages like Japanese.
