iPhone 16 Pro Max and Pro variants to feature 6.3 and 6.9 inch-screens, according to new rumors.
iPhone 15 isn’t out yet but Apple fanboys are already buzzing with excitement as new rumors of 2024’s Apple iPhone 16 Pro variants suggest a significant upgrade in screen size, with Pro variant possibly featuring a 6.3-inch screen and Pro Max model with 6.9 inches.
If the speculations come to fruition, it would mean the iPhone 16 Pro Max would surpass even the biggest screen size currently offered by the latest iteration of the device.
To put things in perspective, the current iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max features a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively.
The news about the addition of larger displays comes from reliable display industry analyst Ross Young, who also mentioned about a bump in aspect ratio.
But what does this all mean for Apple and its users? With many people glued to their smartphones more than ever, having a larger screen could provide an easier and more enjoyable way to stream videos, browse social media and play mobile games on the go.
Moreover, with many remote workers and students switching to virtual meetings and online classes, a larger phone screen could also provide an easier and less straining experience when multitasking on-the-go.
Overall iPhone 16 is shaping up to be a massive upgrade with the rumored addition of larger displays, under-display cameras, and inclusion of faster LPDDR5X RAM and A18 Bionic chip based on TSMC’s 3nm process.
