It’s clear for now that Asus has plenty of phones under the hood to launch this year. Among them, pictures and specs of four Zenfone handsets accidentally leaked on the Asus‘ official website a few days ago. And now, popular leakster, Roland Quandt, has come forward suggesting probable specs of yet another phone named Zenfone 4 Pro.
According to Roland, the Zenfone 4 Pro should come with a large 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080p resolution. Besides a nice display, the leakster also claims that the device will house top-of-the-line specs such as Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
Further, other possible features of the device should include a 3600 mAh battery and Android 7.1 Nougat OS. In addition to that, he also pointed out the probable pricing on the device to be around $650. And if these details are in fact true, then the Zenfone Pro 4 handset should be a worthy successor to the current best-selling device OnePlus 5.
So far, we know that Asus may launch four new Zenfone 4 handsets anytime soon. They are the Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Selfie, Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro and Zenfone 4 Max. Personally, I hate the naming on these handsets and the idea of launching too many variants of the same device. They are indeed confusing!
Of the four handsets awaiting the launch, the most premium one – Zenfone 4 – will have a 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 630 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, 8MP front camera and 3,300 mAh battery. However, the main highlight of the device should be its dual camera setup on the rear comprising of 12MP+8MP sensors.
Next in line is Zenfone 4 Selfie, which should come with 5.5-inch display, SD430 processor, 4GB RAM, 3000 mAh battery and 16MP rear camera. As the naming suggests, the primary focus is put on the selfies, for which, Asus has integrated two camera sensors on the front (20MP+8MP) to step up the selfie game.
Then there is the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro device, which will come sporting an SD625 processor, 5.5-inch display, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and, of course, a dual front camera setup (24MP+5MP). Besides the three, Asus is also launching a cheap variant, dubbed Zenfone 5 Max, which should feature a 5.2-inch display, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, dual (13MP+5MP) front facing cameras, 8MP front camera, and 4100 mAh battery.
