These days there is an app for anything and everything you can think of.

You want an app to deliver daily groceries at your doorsteps? You got it!

You want an app to help you stay disciplined throughout the day? No problem.

You will even find apps that can help you design your dream home. Yes, you read that right.

And the best part — you don’t even need a powerful PC to be able to do that; all you need is an Android or iOS smartphone.

And while you’re at it, we recommend you go through this article (courtesy of Action Life Media) that lists some of the must-haves for your future home: https://www.actionlifemedia.com/home-garden/things-you-need-for-your-toronto-residential-or-commercial-property/

Without further ado, let’s take a look at some of the best home design apps available for Android smartphones and tablets.

    Home Design 3D

Downloaded over 10 million times, Home Design 3D is one of the most popular apps out there in the home design niche.

It is a very advanced application that lets you design and remodel your house in 3D format.

No internet connection is required, and you can do anything from designing the floor plan to furnishing and decorating your house model.

It is free to download from Play Store, although it’s worth noting that in-app purchases could set you back anywhere from $0.99 to $21.99 per item.

    Homify

The second on the list is Homify, a popular home design platform that connects professionals and users.

With a massive collection of 1.5 million photos, there is no shortage of creative ideas for those looking to innovate their home experience.

The app lets you follow reputable architects and interior designers across the globe, and also allows you to get in touch with them directly.

As if that isn’t already enough, it comes with Homify magazine that – among other things – talks about the latest trends in the industry and budget-friendly design ideas on a daily basis.

    Houzz

Sure, there are benefits to cycling in winter, and in case you’re interested, you can read about them in this article from Everything For Dads – https://www.everythingfordads.com/dadsblog/become-a-winter-cyclist-the-healthy-way

But according to the moving company Bekins Moving Solutions, bikes should not be left outside during the winter as “road salt and snow can rust chains and seize moving parts”.

Fortunately, however, if you’re looking for a solution to safely store your bike indoors, Houzz has got you covered with a deluge of compact bike storage ideas.

With more than 10 million downloads on Play Store alone, this home design app is second to none in the market and can provide you with solid ideas for designing or remodeling anything from kitchen to bath.

Unlike other apps mentioned in this list, Houzz also has a dedicated shopping department where you can buy pretty much any home decor you can think of.

It also lets you connect with more than 2.5 million home improvement experts, including architects, and interior decorators.

Besides that, the users can also sign up for a biweekly newsletter for informative articles and watch original videos featuring beautiful homes and how-tos.

    Planner 5D

Downloaded over 10 million times, Planner 5D is one of the highest-rated home design apps on Android with an overall rating of 4.3 out of 5.

The app weighs 101MB, and while it is free to download from Play Store, it is worth noting that each in-app purchase could cost you anywhere between $2.99 and $99.99.

The app might look a bit intimidating at first, however, it is really easy to use. And the best part — you don’t need to be versed in any technical know-how to start working on the app.

It lets you create amazing, super-realistic-looking interior and exterior models of your future home in 2D and 3D formats.

The free version of the app comes with a catalog featuring around 150 items (sofa sets, beds, chairs, tables, etc.) that you can place in and around your home model, and if that doesn’t suffice, you can purchase the full catalog containing over 5000 items through the app.
