Chrome Gold variant of the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has leaked online showing off its stunning rear.
In case you aren’t content with the currently available Chrome Black and Chrome Silver variants of Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, then you should probably wait until the Chrome Gold color variant hits the market.
A newly leaked picture courtesy of DealnTech showcases the rear of upcoming Chrome Gold Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium in all its glory. However, before you get too excited about the new color variant, it’s worth noting that this particular model is likely not going to be available for purchase across the globe.
As per the latest rumors, it will be available only in Japanese and Chinese markets. This is hardly surprising considering that the XZ2 Premium, launched on April 16, has not yet been introduced in major markets from the likes of the United States and India.
The 2018 flagship phone from Sony is said to go for sale in Chinese markets from May 2, and in Japanese markets starting from August 15. As of now, there is no information as to when the handset will be available for other markets. The pricing of the handset is a mystery as well.
The specs of the Xperia XZ2 Premium goes in line with other flagships of 2018 from the likes of Samsung Galaxy S9. It comes with a massive 5.8-inch IPS LCD screen on the front rocking a display resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.
The performance side is taken care of by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 845, along with 6GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
Unlike other Xperia phones, the XZ2 Premium has the fingerprint sensor located on the rear, rather than on the right side of the device. There is a dual camera setup on the rear featuring a 19MP, f1.8 RGB sensor and a monochrome 12MP, f1.6 sensor.
Other specs include a 13MP front-facing camera, 64GB storage, and a decent 3450mAh battery to keep the juice flowing.
