Cubot X18 Plus is the latest budget offering from the Chinese company that offers huge bang for your bucks.

Cubot this week launched their latest budget-friendly smartphone in the form of Cubot X18 Plus. As you’d expect from the naming convention, the X18 Plus is an upgraded variant of the original X18 that launched in August last year. Available exclusively via GearBest, the new handset is currently going for a highly discounted price of $129.99.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Cubot X18 Plus features a large 5.99-inch 2160x1080p display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Besides that, it houses 1.5GHz MediaTek MTK6750T octa-core processor, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, which is quite interesting for a product from a no-name company.

In terms of optics, this mid-range handset comes fitted with a dual 20+2MP camera setup on the rear and a 13MP snapper on the front. The main highlight of the device is, of course, the addition of a massive 4000mAh non-removable battery. There’s a fingerprint scanner on the rear, which unlocks the phone in just 0.1 seconds.

As mentioned earlier, the Cubot X18 Plus can be purchased only via the popular online store GearBest. Speaking of which, the store is currently running a nice deal on the handset, essentially bringing down the price to just $129.99. The deal ends only on April 1st, so you do have enough time in your hand to make up your mind whether or not to go for this phone.

Recap of the specs of Cubot X18 Plus:

    • Display: 5.99-inch 2160x1080p
    • Processor: 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MTK6750T
    • RAM: 4GB
    • Internal storage: 32GB (expandable via microSD slot)
    • Battery: 4000mAh
    • Rear camera: 20MP+2MP dual sensors
    • Front camera: 13MP sensor
