Not many of the people in this world own an Essential Phone. In fact, according to reports, the futuristic-looking phone has been bought by only about 5000 consumers across the globe. But, that is definitely not stopping the new startup to roll out the latest security updates for the device.
Speaking of which, the firm took it to Twitter to announce they are rolling out the latest January security patches. Per the tweet, the update also includes fixes for security flaws including Meltdown and Spectre. For those who didn’t know, those aforementioned flaws can let an attacker steal sensitive information from one’s device including passwords.
So, if you essentially own an Essential Phone, then this update is a MUST in case you don’t want anyone to secretly access your important information.
