Live images showcasing the forthcoming LG V30 handset is all you need to see today.
Sure, LG’s incoming flagship phone, LG V30, has already been through a multitude of leaks revealing the phone in its entirety. However, as if that wasn’t enough, a new leak (courtesy of Weibo) has now surfaced online allegedly showcasing the device, and boy, the V30 indeed looks just GREAT.
I’ve previously bashed LG for ditching one of the prominent features of V flagship – the secondary ticker. But as the leaks are piling up, the LG V30 is shaping up to be one of the best-looking devices ever manufactured by LG, or any mobile maker for that matter.

To be honest, the design of the new handset looks quite similar to the Galaxy S8, rather than LG’s own G6. But that’s pretty okay, considering the fact that Galaxy S8 is easily one of the most stylish phones currently available in the market.
Also, the display is now curved along the longer sides, as opposed to the flat display on the G6. Besides, LG has already confirmed that it has used OLED panels on the new V flagships replacing the good old LCD displays.
Besides the lack of a removable battery and secondary display, both the V30 and V30 Plus are looking to be one of the biggest releases this year. With the release of these new flagships in the third quarter, LG is hoping to recover the losses it incurred in the second quarter due to poor G6 units sale.
As far as the specs are concerned, the LG V30 and V30 Plus will ship with Snapdragon 835 processor, wireless charging feature, and 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (in partnership with Bang and Olufsen).
As the name suggests, the V30 Plus will be slightly superior to the normal variant in terms of RAM size and storage. The former is tipped to pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the latter will equip only 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.
After the launch on 31st August, both the phones are reported to go on sale starting September 15.
