Samsung’s entry-level handset Galaxy J7 Nxt launched in India for Rs 11,490.
Looking to buy a cheap entry-level Android handset? Well, now is the time. Samsung India has officially launched their latest addition to the J-series, Galaxy J7 Nxt, in India. The device is priced at Rs 11,490 in the country and packs pretty decent specifications for the price range.
Speaking of specifications, the Galaxy J7 Nxt packs a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, which doesn’t really sound impressive. But hey, it’s an entry level phone, what more could you expect? But, it’s worth noting that you can get a better FullHD display with the Redmi Note 4 for the same price range.
Besides that, the J7 Nxt is powered by a 1.6 GHz Octa-core processor, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. However, there is a built-in microSD slot so that you can expand storage up to 256GB. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, and is backed by an impressive 3000 mAh battery.
Also, the phone comes in two color variants, including Black and Gold. However, the handset is void of the support for Samsung Pay as there is no NFC built-in. That’s a bummer! Apart from that, it has a 13MP rear shooter with f/1.9 aperture, while the front camera is a 5MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
For connectivity, it comes with support for 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and micro USB port. You can purchase the device from any of the Samsung official stores or the offline retailers across the country. Plus, you can purchase the device online from the official Samsung Shop website.
Around two weeks ago, Samsung launched a mid-tier phone, dubbed Galaxy On Max, in India for a price of Rs 16,900. Unlike J7 Nxt, the On Max came with features such as Samsung Pay Mini and social camera app.
