Finally, the Galaxy Note 8 is prepping to debut this August 23 at a New York press event. So, we decided to do a quick review of leaks and rumors surrounding the device to let you know what you can expect from the device.
The most-talked phone of the year, the Galaxy Note 8, is finally about to unveil the very next month, and we couldn’t be more excited to share with you everything we know so far about the device. From a new gorgeous design to the integration of the most powerful yet-to-launch chipset, the Note 8 will pack everything we’ve always wanted to see in a flagship smartphone.
Firstly, let’s address the elephant in the room. As per reports, the Galaxy Note 8 will pack a safer and smaller battery than the Note 7 – presumably 3,300 mAh. But, that’s not a bummer at all, considering that the former should pack a more power efficient chipset and better rapid charging feature.
Further, the Note 8 is said to come with a 6.3-inch QuadHD Infinity display. Besides that, rumors are pointing out that it should be powered by the yet-to-launch Snapdragon 836 chipset, along with 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of internal storage. If that’s true, the Note 8 could be the first phone to come out with the said chipset.
As mentioned, there will be no buttons up front; instead, the device will make use of on-screen buttons, similar to the Galaxy S8. Also, the fingerprint sensor should be present at the rear alongside a dual camera setup. Yes, the Galaxy Note 8 will feature a dual rear camera setup like the iPhone 7 Plus and OnePlus 5. There will be two 12MP sensors aligned horizontally to each other, with one of them being a monochrome sensor, while the other should be an RGB sensor. Plus, the dual camera on the upcoming Note phablet is rumored to be better than its competitors in the market.
