Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is now receiving a new software update, that will install June security patch on the smartphone.

Samsung is now rolling out security patch update for the month of June to its Galaxy S6 Edge Plus devices. The update is seeding over-the-air (OTA), and may take a while before reaching your device. However, you can look for these updates manually by visiting Settings -> About Device -> Check for updates.

Once you install the update, it will bump your software build version to G928FXXS3CQFA. The new update brings along several bug fixes and performance improvements to the Galaxy S6 Edge+.

Nonetheless to say, make sure your device has a minimum charge of 50% before opting to install the update. Also, make sure all your important data is backed up for obvious reasons.

Galaxy S6 Edge+ was launched back in August 2015. To recap its specs, the phone features a 5.7-inch display, octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, 4GB RAM, 16MP/5MP camera combo and 3000 mAh battery. It was available in two storage variants; with the bigger variant carrying 64GB of onboard storage, while the lower variant came with 32GB of onboard storage.
