As a tech enthusiast, I love exploring just about every tech website there is online. However, the one (the best, in fact!) I do frequently visit has always been GSMArena. But, how did I find this tech website in the first place? Well, you’ve probably guessed that right – unrivaled device comparison table. Well, it’s simple and pretty straightforward — compares specs of multiple smartphones or tablets. In fact, that’s indeed the beauty of it!

Now, it’s not just GSMArena that has a device comparison chart of their own, there are, in fact, hundreds of websites online that have this feature. Out of that, there are a good number of websites that depend solely on this comparison chart for their daily traffic.

If the latest rumor is to be believed, Google is working on a new feature that might put these websites out of business. Speaking of, the search giant is said to be working on integrating a comparison chart in their search algorithm that will let you compare the specifications of two or more devices.

For instance: Assume you’re googling LG V30 vs LG V30 Plus. Once the feature goes live, Google Search would itself list the specs sheet of these devices. That means you won’t have to go to any website to know about such details; Google will provide them right on your search results page. In addition to that, the feature should also let you figure out the difference between multiple devices.

As interesting as it sounds, but such a feature would likely put hundreds of comparison-based websites out of business. Nevertheless, we’ll let you know more about this feature once it goes live, speaking of which, should happen anytime soon!
