Honor 7X is the best mid-range smartphone you can get when it comes to bang for your buck.

Huawei has finally unveiled its long-rumored budget-friendly smartphone, dubbed Honor 7X. The device marks the successor to one of the best mid-tier smartphones of 2016, the Honor 6X. The Honor 7X is a huge upgrade over last year’s 6X thanks to a new design, a larger display, and a better processor. So without further ado, let’s find out the complete specifications of the newbie in town.

    Huawei Honor 7X Specs

For someone who had their hands on the Honor 6X, the new Honor 7X will feel completely different in person. Speaking of, the new phone features a large 18:9 display with very few bezels around it. To give you a better perspective there, the new 2018-Honor phone looks more like an LG G6 rather than any Honor-branded phone. The front side of the device is almost covered fully by the display like most flagship devices released this year.

    Honor 7X specs, features

The handset features a 5.93-inch full-HD Plus display (1080 x 2160 pixels) with 18:9 aspect ratio and fewer bezels along the sides. Besides that, it is powered by Huawei’s mid-tier in-house chipset Kirin 659 processor along, 4GB of RAM and 32/64/128GB storage. The handset is available in three color variants, including Black, Blue, and Gold.

The photography department is managed by a dual 12MP+2MP rear camera setup and an 8MP front-facing camera. To keep the light on, the smartphone is powered by a 3340 mAh battery. There’s a fingerprint reader mounted onto the rear of the device.

    Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G VoLTE, GPS/GLONASS, and micro USB 2.0.

    Honor 7X Price

A 32GB variant of the Honor 7X will set you back CNY 1299 ($197), while the 64GB and 128GB variants are priced at CNY 1699 ($258) and CNY 1999 ($303) respectively. We don’t know if the smartphone will be getting a global launch or not, but what’s obvious for now is that the handset will go on sale in China starting October 17th.
