A series of pictures allegedly portraying a prototype of upcoming Huawei Nova 3 has just made it to the internet.

Huawei launched two mid-range phone Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus earlier this year. And now, a new leak reveals that the company may be working on a successor model with 18:9 full-screen display. Plus, the leak also confirms that the upcoming Huawei Nova 3 will retain the dual camera setup on the rear, like the previous models.

Earlier today, pictures allegedly showcasing a Huawei Nova 3 prototype were leaked on popular micro-blogging site, Weibo, showcasing the forthcoming phone in its entirety. The launch date of the device is not known at this point. However, we’ve seen several reports suggesting the launch might happen sometime towards the end of this year.

If rumors are anything to go by, the Huawei Nova 3 will feature a 5.93-inch FullHD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, Huawei’s Kirin 670 SoC, 3/4GB RAM, and 32/64GB internal storage. Contrary to previous rumors, the picture reveals that the fingerprint scanner will be located on the front (below the display) rather than on the rear.

The handset, which is expected to launch sometime in December, will likely set you back about RMB 2999 ($450).
