Instagram is rolling out new features such as ‘Superzoom’ and a bunch of new Halloween stickers and filters.

If you couldn’t get a super scary costume to scare your friends and relatives this Halloween, you need not worry as Instagram has got your back. Facebook-owned Instagram is currently rolling out some new enticing features to make this Halloween more creepy than ever before.

Along with a plethora of Halloween-themed stickers and filters, the photo-sharing app has a new camera feature called Superzoom. According to the Instagram blog, “Superzoom is an easy way to record a funny video with dramatic sound effects.”

Now, you might be wondering how to use this brand new feature. Well, it’s pretty easy. It’s as easy as using the Boomerang feature on Instagram. All you need to do is open the camera in the Instagram app, and then click the ‘Superzoom’ button, which lies beside the ‘Boomerang’ button.

After you select the feature, click the record button to automatically zoom in onto your face (or your friend’s). The result is a pretty scary video with some suspenseful music playing in the background.

“You can make a Superzoom of anything — your selfie, your friend’s goofy face or even your half-eaten sandwich. As always, you can send your video to your friends on Instagram Direct or add it to your story.”

If you love using stickers and filters on Instagram, then you’re up for a treat as Instagram has introduced a bunch of Halloween stickers and filters. With the new filters, you can turn yourself into a zombie, or transform from a vampire to a flying bat, or even get lost in a mysterious fog.

As if that isn’t enough, you can also make use of the brand new Halloween-themed stickers to “halloweenify” your pictures. If you want any of these new features, then stop reading this article already and download the latest Instagram app (version 20.0).
