A new render has leaked online at Weibo showing off a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with horizontal dual camera setup in the back.
Rumors and leaks surrounding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 seems to have no end. Earlier today, a new render, showcasing horizontal dual camera layout of the device, has surfaced on Weibo. This render is in-line with the previous rumors we’ve been hearing about the device and thus seems legit!
However, there’s a bad news. Just like the Galaxy S8, the Note 8 will also have its fingerprint sensor near the camera module. With the scanner that close to the camera lens, there could be a tendency to get mucky fingerprints all over the lens.
Nevertheless, we don’t expect the Korean giant to repeat the mistake all over again. Thus this render could likely be fake. Therefore, we suggest you take this report with a pinch of salt!
According to previous rumors, the Galaxy Note 8 will have an edge-to-edge 18:5:9 aspect ratio AMOLED display with size nearly the same as the Galaxy S8+ (6.2-inch). Under the hood, it is said to house Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset Snapdragon 835 along with 6GB RAM. As for the camera, there will be a pair of 12MP sensors in the back, while the front camera will probably be an 8MP sensor.
Besides that, it will come bundled with an S Pen, like every other Note phablets. On the software front, the handset will run Android Nougat out of the box, along with custom Android skin on top, with improved multi-tasking and advanced functionalities to the S Pen.
