LG V30 will feature an immersive audio technology on board.

It looks like LG is improving its advertising strategies for upcoming phones, which is very evident in the way it has released a promo video touting the extraordinary audio technology used in the forthcoming V30 handset. Well, the video is quite short – only 20 seconds long – but manages to showcase the audio capabilities of the handset in its entirety.

LG wants us to know that their new incoming range of phones – LG V30 and V30 Plus – will pack high-end audio system inside so that the users can enjoy any sort of music, ranging from DJ party songs to good ol’ classical ones, with immersive effect. Although nothing specific about the new audio technology used in the V30s is mentioned in the video, it’s worth noting that previous rumors have already pointed out that these devices might just come loaded with Bang and Olufsen audio system. And, that’s likely to be true, considering the hype LG is building around their new audio piece.

LG’s partnership with Bang and Olufsen dates back to March 2016 in an effort to embed the latter’s premium audio system on LG’s OLED TVs. Since then, the partnership has not just been limited to TVs. LG’s second-gen V series flagship, V20, was shipped with a pair of B&O earphones in the box.

With the addition of new B&O audio system, we believe that the LG V30 might just have an edge over the recently unveiled Galaxy Note 8, which comes with a rather boring audio setup.

LG will reportedly launch two V flagships this year. Of the two, the most premium one – LG V30 Plus – will feature Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. Although the smaller variant, LG V30, should also feature the same processor, it is said to pack only 4GB RAM and 64GB storage out of the box.

Both the devices will launch a day before the debut of IFA conference 2017, i.e., August 31st.
