LG V30’s leaked wireless charging dock confirms the prominent feature

LG V30 Wireless Charging Feature Confirmed: Earlier, we reported that LG V30 will be accompanied by a Plus variant at the launch event on August 30. And now, a new leak showcasing an alleged wireless charging dock belonging to the incoming smartphone has surfaced online. We knew the forthcoming V-series phones should pack wireless charging feature, and this latest leak seems to confirm the same.

The newly leaked picture, courtesy of SlashLeaks, appears to be a screenshot from the official LG store. While we don’t know that for sure, it’s worth noting that the picture looks pretty legit; not like some photoshop works. Based on the picture, the wireless charging dock for the LG V30 will have the model name “PWM-5300“.

If the leak is true, it contradicts the earlier rumors that the said feature would be available exclusively for the LG V30 Plus. LG first incorporated the wireless charging technology on to its flagship device LG G6, which was launched earlier this year. And, it’s nice to see the company extending the feature on to the forthcoming V-series phones.

There is next to nothing that we don’t know about the yet-to-announce device. The probable design and specs of the device have been leaked, from reliable sources, multiple times before making us confident about what is to be expected from the LG V phones.

A GeekBench listing has confirmed that the normal variant will pack Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. Meanwhile, the Plus variant should come sporting the same processor, but with more amount of RAM – presumably 6 gigs.

Since we are only a few days away from the official launch, let’s all wait to hear the big news from the horse’s mouth and rather not from an unknown leaker who might have only a mere knowledge about the new handsets. Also, we promise to update the details about the phones as soon as they are officially unveiled on August 30. So, make sure to visit this space more often to stay updated about the forthcoming LG flagships.
