LG’s X4+ has gone official with Snapdragon 425 processor and 2GB RAM.
Just when we were thinking the V30 Plus Alpha would be LG’s first phone of 2018, the firm jumped the gun and launched a budget-friendly rugged smartphone in the form of LG X4+. The main highlight of the device, of course, is the MIL-STD 810-G certification; it is designed to withstand harsh environments such as low temperature, high temperature, thermal shock and more.
As far as the specs are concerned, the LG X4+ has a 5.3-inch IPS HD display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 425 chipset along with 2GB RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. Other than that, it comes with a 13MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a decent 3000mAh battery.
The other highlight of the device is the addition of a high-quality DAC for 32bit-192KHz audio. In terms of software, it runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
In case you’re in Korea, this handset will set you back about KRW 300,000 (approx $280) and can be bought via any of the three major carriers across the country. Of note, it’s not clear whether or not will the handset be available in other parts of the world.
In Korea, the handset can be purchased in two color variants: Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet.
