As Meizu is prepping to launch the Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus on July 26th, a new leak has surfaced online revealing some key specifications of the devices.

We’ve seen renders showcasing the Meizu Pro 7 sporting a secondary display, and now, it’s time to have a look at the hardware specs of the device. It’s worth noting that the leak also mentions of a Plus variant, Meizu Pro 7 Plus, so we might probably see this device as well at the July 26th event along with the Pro 7.

As per the leak, both the devices will run Flyme 6 OS which is based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Besides that, the Pro 7 is tipped to come in two variants, one sporting an Helio P25 chipset along with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the other features an Helio X30 chipset along with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

    Meizu Pro 7

On the other hand, the Pro 7 Plus will come loaded with the Helio X30 chipset, although no details regarding the RAM size and internal storage are revealed. However, we are expecting it to feature at least 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Plus, the devices will support mCharge fast charging technology out of the box. As we’ve seen in the leaks before, the Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus will also feature a smaller secondary display on the rear. The latest leak suggests that the Meizu Pro 7 will feature a 5.2-inch main display, while the Pro 7 Plus should come with a 5.7-inch front display. The secondary display on both these devices is a 1.9-inch one which should be designed to show notifications, games, and selfies taken with the primary camera.

The main highlight of the Pro 7 series is the dual camera setup on the rear, which is rumored to host two 12MP sensors. Apart from that, the front camera on both these devices is expected to be a 16MP snapper.
