Xiaomi has launched their latest flagship handset, Mi Mix 2, in India on Tuesday. The phone is priced at Rs 35999 ($550) in the country and will compete against the likes of OnePlus 5 and Nokia 8.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Mi Mix 2 sports a 5.99-inch 2160 x 1080p full-screen edge-to-edge display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage, 12MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and 3400 mAh battery. It’s worth noting that the device will be a Flipkart-exclusive in India, and first preview sale starts on October 17th.

“Mi Mix 2 brings Xiaomi into a new price segment in India and will compete with Samsung, Apple, Nokia, Oneplus and Oppo. The entry will make the premium segment even more competitive,” Tarun Pathak, Senior Analyst, Mobile Devices and Ecosystems at New Delhi-based Counterpoint Research, told IANS.
