The render shows a design similar to Galaxy S8.

There is no denying the fact that Xiaomi was the FIRST company to introduce the all-screen front design with Mi Mix. Since then, we saw the new trend catching up insanely quick, and fast-forward to today, we have a wide range of smartphones – Galaxy S8, LG G6, Doogee Mix – adopting the design element on their flagships. And that’s not all! The upcoming series of handsets including Galaxy Note 8, iPhone 8 will all have the same sort of design.

But, the Chinese company is not done yet with new innovative thoughts. They are bringing yet another flagship phone into the smartphone markets to show what really have in store for us. And, oh boy, the leaked renders of Mi Mix 2, the latest addition to their Mi Mix series, is beyond doubt beautiful.

Unlike the first Mi Mix smartphone, the new one should have curved edges in place of sharp edges. The new design looks inspired from the current Samsung flagship Galaxy S8 and certainly offers a pleasure to the eyes. In fact, the new Mi Mix 2 looks a bit more attractive than the latter, but as always, that’s just my opinion!

Similar to its predecessor, the Mix 2 will also feature high-end specs and features, and hopefully, come with a reasonable price tag. The handset should compete with other premium flagship smartphones in the market, including LG G6, Galaxy S8 and the forthcoming iPhone 8 and Pixel 2.

If the rumors are to be believed, we might probably see the Mi Mix 2 launching sometime in November this year. However, a release date post-November for the Mix 2 – or any smartphone for that matter – would, in fact, be the worst time to do so, as other much-anticipated handsets – Galaxy Note 8, Pixel 2 – will already take over the market by then. However, if the handset has something unique to offer to the customer while maintaining a reasonable price tag, then, it should give all the forthcoming biggies a good run for their money.

As far as the specs are concerned, we can confirm that the upcoming Mi Mix 2 will come loaded with a 6.4-inch display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, and 64/128GB of internal storage. Here’s a hoping that at least the new handset would get a global launch, unlike its predecessor.
