Groove Music for Android and iOS will stop functioning from December 1st, 2018.

In case you were still using Groove Music on your Android or iOS phone after Microsoft shut down the music streaming service back in October 2017, we have some bad news for you!

As per a new official statement, the Redmond-based software giant will pull the plug off its Groove Music Android and iOS apps on December 1, 2018. However, the firm assures that all your personal music files will continue to be available in your OneDrive account.

Needless to say, one should be able to access the files either through OneDrive online or via the app available on the respective platform.

On December 1, 2018, the Groove Music iOS and Android apps will be retired. Your personal music files will continue to be available in OneDrive. You can keep listening to those files, and your playlists, with the Windows 10 Groove Music apps on PC, Xbox, or Windows Phone.
