The upcoming ‘mini’ variant of LG G6 will be called the LG Q6, and not G6 Mini, according to a tweet by Evan Blass.

According to popular leakster Evan Blass (@evleaks), the forthcoming smaller variant of LG G6 will be called LG Q6, and not LG G6 Mini. The phone was first discovered by TechnoBuffalo while viewing leaked internal documents of the Korean tech company.

While not much information regarding the device is not known at the moment, the leaked documents did confirm that it will sport a 5.4-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. However, we are not sure if the manufacturer is still working on the handset or mulled the idea a month ago.

Evan also mentioned that the phone might probably pack 3GB of RAM inside, while the bigger brother G6 came with 4GB of RAM onboard. He also said that the upcoming handset will feature a single 13MP rear camera, compared to G6’s dual 13MP camera setup.

And, that’s all we know about the phone as of now. However, watch out for this space as we keep updating more information regarding the LG Q6.

Abhin’s love for all things tech started when he got his first smartphone, Galaxy S (the first), in 2010. Since then, he has been crazy about technology and tried out all major Android flagships from Samsung, and HTC. He currently uses a Google Pixel 4a as his daily driver.
