Lenovo’s latest mid-range phone Moto E4 is said to cost Rs 8,999 in India, according to a local retailer.

Launched last month in the US, Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus are making its way to India this week. Although no official word on pricing was revealed, there were speculations that the E4 would be priced at Rs 8,500. However, a new tip received from local Mumbai retailer Mahesh Telecom states that the Moto E4 will instead be priced at Rs 8,999 in the country.

Recalling the specs, Moto E4 features a 5-inch display with 2.5D curved glass and a 2800 mAh battery. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 425 or MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. Apart from that, it comes with an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front-facing camera and supports NFC.

On the other hand, the E4 Plus is the bigger variant, sporting a 5.5-inch display, 3GB RAM, and an amazing 5000 mAh battery. Besides that, there is a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper. However, the rest of the specs are same as that of Moto E4.

If reports are true, India will be getting the MediaTek variant of both the phones, and not the Snapdragon variant.
