Motorola has finally bid adieu to rumors and leaks, and launched two affordable handsets – Moto G Power and Moto G Stylus. As the name suggests, the Moto G Styles comes with a Stylus out of the box coupled with a built-in note-taking application. Meanwhile, the highlight of Moto G Power is that it features a massive 5000mAh battery. Both phones come with a hole-punch display and are powered by Qualcomm’s mid-range chipset Snapdragon 665. Both devices run Android 10 OS and are fitted with Dobly’s dual stereo speakers.

Moto G Power specs

Upfront, there is a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2300 pixels) Max Vision display with 19.17:9 aspect ratio, 399ppi pixel density, and 88 percent screen-to-body ratio. The design is reminiscent of Samsung’s Galaxy S10, featuring a hole-punch display and thin bezels. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, the handset packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that is expandable via a microSD card (up to 512GB).

The triple camera setup on the rear consists of a 16-megapixel main snapper with an f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 118-degrees field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. The selfie camera is a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging.

A Moto G Power will set you back $249 (Rs 18000) and will soon be available in the US and Canada via all major carriers and retail partners such as Best Buy, B&H Photo, Walmart and Amazon.

Moto G Stylus specs

Upfront, there is a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2300 pixels) Max Vision display with 399ppi pixel density, 89 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 19.17:9 aspect ratio. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, the Moto G Stylus packs 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card (up to 512GB).

The triple rear camera setup consists of a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 lens, a 16-megapixel action camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a laser AF module as well. The selfie camera is a 16MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a smaller 4000mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging.

A Moto G Stylus will set you back $299.99 (Rs 21500) and will soon be available in the US and Canada through all major carriers and retailers.

Other upcoming Moto phones?

Sure, Moto G Power and Moto G Stylus are now official, but we still have at least two Moto phones to look forward to – Moto Edge+ and Moto Z5. While the former is expected to be announced at Moto’s pre-MWC press event scheduled on Feb 23, the latter may not come out anytime soon.

The Edge+ is said to be a flagship 5G phone, with Snapdragon latest and most powerful chipset Snapdragon 865 onboard. Meanwhile, all we know about the Moto Z5 is that it will come out with a massive 5000mAh battery.
