MSI has launched two Optix MPG Series laptops of the form MPG27C and MPG27CQ at CES 2018.

If you’re someone who spends a hella lot of money on monitors to enhance your gaming experience, then you may wanna check out these two new gaming monitors dubbed MPG27C and MPG27CQ unveiled at the CES 2018 show. They have five built-in RGB LEDs on the front that you can program to work based on in-game stuff like timers or cooldowns or — even better — let you know when you have any Discord notifications.

As far as the features are concerned, both the MPG27C and MPG27CQ offers 144GHz refresh rate and 1ms response time so that you can have a super smooth gaming experience. Also, they come with curved displays with a curvature rate of 1800R and offers 178-degree viewing angles.

The two gaming monitors come with 27-inch displays, however, the MPG27CQ offers a higher resolution display than the MPG27C (WQHD vs FHD). The former boasts 400 nits brightness, 3000:1 contrast ratio, and covers 100 percent NTSC and 110 percent sRGB. Oddly enough, the MPG27C, on the other hand, sports a shitty 250 nits brightness while still maintaining the same contrast ratio and color gamut coverage.

Speaking of connectivity, both the devices have got two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 2.0 Type-B port, an earphone out port, a microphone in port, and an audio combo jack. The pricing of the new MSI MPG Series laptops is not revealed yet, however, we believe it could cost somewhat above $350 — the price you pay for the ultimate gaming experience.
