If you’re not someone from east Asia, chances are you might not have heard of the Disney Tsum Tsum. It’s a popular range of Japanese stuffed toys based on Disney characters. Earlier this year Nintendo had revealed a game based on the same, called Disney Tsum Tsum Festival. The game is set to launch on October 10th.
To celebrate this launch, Nintendo in collaboration with Disney will be releasing a special Tsum Tsum themed Switch bundle alongside the game. As shown in the picture above, the special Switch Joy-Cons will come in purple and pink, covered in Tsum Tsum patterns. The Switch dock also seems to be decorated similarly with Tsum Tsum patterns. Also, the home button has Mickey Mouse ears.
The bundle will cost you 36,080 yen($333) and will be launched alongside the game on October 10th in Japan. It will also include some exclusive minigames and special in-game costumes for Disney Tsum Tsum Festival. The bundle is also reported to be having the updated Switch with the better battery life. As of now, we have no news about Nintendo planning to launch the special Tsum Tsum Switch bundle in other parts of the world.
After being stagnant for over a year after the release of Switch, Nintendo finally seems to be picking up the pace. The company unveiled the new Switch lite a couple of weeks ago, new updated Switch with better battery life coming next month and we also saw the new Joy-Con controllers in blue and yellow, purple and orange.
