This render showing off the upcoming Google Pixel 2 XL design is the best one we’ve seen so far.

There’s apparently a good news for all the Android lovers awaiting the launch of the next Pixel phone. We’re just a few months away from the imminent launch of the Pixel 2 XL, however, we already know a bunch of details about the device. But until now, there still seems to exist several confusions when it comes to the external design of the handset; thanks to the conflicting renders leaked over the past months.

However, a new render, first discovered by AndroidPolice, rocks a brand new design that indeed looks gorgeous and distinctive. Although the previous Pixel phones came with high specifications under the hood, the devices failed to impress many in terms of design; thanks to Google for retaining huge bezels on top and bottom of the display. Nevertheless, the newly leaked render of forthcoming Pixel 2 XL hints at a device featuring slim bezels and amazing black/gray finish.

As you can see in the picture above, the Pixel 2 XL looks nothing like the current Pixel phone. The new Pixel phone is rumored to sport a 6-inch AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Notably, it looks a lot like the Galaxy S8 and LG G6 with very narrow bezels on the front. While on the back, there is a half-textured finish, similar to current Pixel devices. Apart from that, the tech giant has retained the fingerprint sensor on the back, below the rear camera.

Recalling the leaked specs, the Pixel 2 XL is tipped to pack Snapdragon 835 processor under the roof, along with at least 4GB of RAM and storage options starting from 32GB. Since the 2016 Pixel phones marked the best phone cameras, we are expecting nothing less from the forthcoming handset. However, the most interesting feature that can be expected of the upcoming Pixel phone is the squeeze functionality. Similar to HTC U11’s Edge Sense, the new feature on the Pixel 2 XL will let you access applications and functions by just squeezing the sides.
