Here is everything we know so far about incoming Nokia 5.1 Plus. It’s expected to release on August 31st.

Last month, we saw Nokia unveil three budget-friendly smartphones in the form of Nokia 5.1, 3.1, and 2.1. And now, as per a new leak, it looks like the Finland-based brand is not done with their handset release plans for 2018. Apparently, there’s one more on the way dubbed Nokia 5.1 Plus.

As the name suggests, the Nokia 5.1 Plus could be an improved variant of the recently unveiled 5.1. A newly leaked video, courtesy of Onleaks and Tiger Mobiles, purportedly showcases the upcoming handset from every possible angle. If we are to go by the leak, the device will feature an iPhone X-like ‘notched’ design with very thin bezels and a dual camera setup on the rear.

Another new Nokia handset that goes by the name ‘Nokia X6‘ was previously leaked, featuring a similar design and dual rear cameras.

The handset featured in the video is a white-colored variant. There is a Nokia branding at the bottom bezel on the front as well as on the rear, right below the circle-shaped fingerprint reader.

The right side of the handset houses the volume rocker and the power button, while the 3.5mm headphone jack and noise-canceling mic are located on the top of the handset. The speaker setup and USB-C port for data transfer and charging are placed on the bottom.

Per the source, the Nokia 5.1 Plus will feature a 5.7-inch display with dimensions measuring 149.5mm in length, 71.9mm in width, and 8mm in thickness.

Nokia 5.1 Plus Release Date (Expected)

Nokia 5.1 Plus hasn’t been confirmed by HMD Global, the firm that manufactures the Nokia-branded phones, yet. However, there’s a strong possibility that we will likely see the handset unveil at the upcoming IFA Berlin event, scheduled to start from August 31st.

Along with this mid-range phone, Nokia is also expected to release a high-end Android flagship device in the form of Nokia 9.

Nokia 5.1 Plus Specs

As for the specs, the device is expected to feature a large 5.7-inch Full HD display and is said to be powered by MediaTek Helio P23 processor. There’s a dual camera setup on the rear, though the resolution of the sensors is not known at the moment. Other specs of the Nokia 5.1 Plus might include 4GB RAM, 32/64GB storage, and an 8MP front-facing camera.
