I’m pretty sure the forthcoming Nokia 9 will look nothing like these new renders.

We’re pretty sure at this point that Nokia is certainly working on a brand new flagship smartphone – presumably Nokia 9. The news about a new incoming Nokia handset was confirmed by none other than an HMD Global executive himself. The exec said that a phone with a bigger screen than the Nokia 8 is currently in the works in order “to meet the needs of absolutely all users”.

Helping us fill some of the blanks, several rumors and leaks have appeared online for the past few weeks. We’ve got leaks of all sorts. And one of them gave us an early sneak peek to the entire spec sheet of the Nokia 9. However, the one that got me excited about the handset was this:

This leak (courtesy of NokiaPowerUser) reveals that the Nokia 9 will not feature a BORING design as the Nokia 8. Instead, it’ll follow the latest full-screen design trend with fewer bezels.

And then we came across a yet another leak showcasing the device in its entirety. The new leak, however, had nothing new to offer and pretty much echoed with what we’ve seen already, but in a more colorful picture. Here it is:

And now, as if those leaks weren’t already enough, a new leak has now emerged on micro-blogging site Baidu showcasing the device in a never-seen-before blue variant. You can have a look at the picture below:

The Nokia 9 as depicted in these ‘leaked’ pictures looks gorgeous; it looks just as gorgeous as the Galaxy Note 8 or the more recently launched iPhone X, and there’s no denying that.

Going by the looks of the device, you might probably want these leaked renders to be true. But, you’re probably going to be disappointed as these leaks seem so unreal, at least to me.

Why the ‘leaked’ Nokia 9 renders could be fake?

Sure, the new Nokia 9 leak looks stunning and is everything we’ve always wanted to see from the company. But, the renders are just too unreal to be true! In fact, the device in the picture looks like what could possibly be a love child of the Galaxy S7 Edge and Nokia 8. You know what I mean?

Also, the fact that the Nokia 9, in the renders, looks nothing like the previous Nokia phones strangles me the most and makes me wanna think that this could be a cooked up work by a person or a website looking for some attention. So, we suggest you take these “leaked” Nokia 9 renders with the usual proverbial pinch of salt.
