Affordable smartphone brand Realme has added a new member to the Realme 6 family. Realme on Tuesday unveiled the Realme 6i, the successor to last year’s 5i, in Myanmar.

Although details regarding the availability in other markets are yet to be revealed, the price of the phone starts from Rs 13,000 (MMK 249,900) for the 3GB RAM, 64GB storage variant.

There is a 4GB RAM, 128GB storage variant that will set you back Rs 15,600 (MMK 299,900). The phone will be up for pre-orders starting tomorrow, 18th March.

As far as the specs go, the Realme 6i features a 6.5-inch HD+ MiniDrop display with a waterdrop notch at the top, rocking an aspect ratio of 20:9 and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor and is available in 3GB and 4GB RAM configs. The 3GB RAM variant has 64GB internal storage, while the 4GB RAM variant features 128GB storage. And you can expand the storage up to 128 gigs through a MicroSD slot.

When it comes to photography, the Realme 6i packs a quad-camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture. The setup also includes an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a sensor for portrait shots and a macro lens. And for selfies, there is a 16MP snapper on the front with f/2.0 aperture.
