Chinese phone maker Realme is all set to host a global launch event at this year’s MWC event, where the company will be taking the curtains off their first smart TV and a flagship smartphone. Although the launch date has been confirmed, not much is known about the TV as of now. However, in an interesting development, Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase has now shared a picture revealing the ‘About Phone’ section of the upcoming flagship through his Weibo handle, thus confirming the name of the handset to be Realme X50 Pro 5G. The picture also reveals the hardware specifications of the handset.
Realme X50 Pro 5G Specs
The upcoming Realme flagship X50 Pro 5G will carry the model name RMX2071 and will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset Snapdragon 865. It will be the company’s first 5G phone and will pack 12 gigs of RAM and 256 gigs of internal storage. It’s not clear if the device will come with a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
In terms of connectivity, the upcoming affordable flagship handset will support NFC and dual SIM cards. Besides that, the picture also reveals the device will run Android 10 OS out of the box, with Realme UI V1.0 on top.
According to the ‘About Section’ snapshot, the new realme phone will come out sporting a punch-hole display – similar to what we’ve seen on the likes of Samsung Galaxy S10. The punch hole for the selfie camera is located on the top-left corner, with a FullHD+ display alongside it.
