Xiaomi’s incoming mid-tier smartphone Redmi Note5 has just visited certification website TENAA showing off its brand new 18:9 almost bezel-less display.

If you thought the new all-screen smartphone design trend is just restricted to high-end $1000 phones, then Xiaomi is probably gonna prove you wrong. The company’s incoming mid-range smartphone Redmi Note5, which is expected to come sometime in November, will reportedly feature an 18:9 display with very thin bezels along the sides. The renders of the device have appeared on Chinese certification website TENAA showing off a gorgeous new design.

Although the listing doesn’t reveal anything much about the forthcoming handset, it does reveal that the device will be available in two color variants, namely, Black and Gold/White.

Also, the Redmi Note 5 will reportedly come in a bunch of variants just like its predecessor. Speaking of, there should be a high-end one sporting 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and two low-end ones with 3/16GB and 3/32GB storage options. The handset will be powered by either Snapdragon 630 processor or MediaTek P30 processor depending on your region.

For the photography department, it is said to sport a dual-16MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Talking about the software, the device is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo with MIUI 9.0 on top. The battery capacity should be the same at 4000 mAh as its predecessor.

According to the latest report, the Redmi Note5 will be unveiled sometime in November of this year to coincide with an upcoming Chinese shopping festival. The best part about Xiaomi’s Redmi lineups has always been their reasonable price tags. The forthcoming phone is tipped to cost 999 Yuan ($150) for the 3/16GB variant, 1299 Yuan ($196) for the 3GB/32GB variant and, finally, 1699 Yuan ($256) for the high-end one featuring 4GB RAM.

So, what do you think about this upcoming handset? Are you looking forward to its launch? Let us know all your thoughts on the Redmi Note 5 in the comments below.
