Samsung Mocks Apple’s Notorious Throttling Issue In Their Latest Ad

Oh, these Samsung vs Apple adverts are simply the best!

Samsung on Friday released a new advertisement, “Samsung Galaxy: Moving on“, that takes a jab at the throttling issue that older iPhone users have been facing since forever, but has been in the limelight only recently after Apple confirmed the allegation. Though the throttling story is now a thing of the past with Apple releasing an update to turn off throttling, Samsung still thinks it would make the best opportunity to market its latest flagship phone, Samsung Galaxy S9.

Now, I’m not a big fan of Samsung, but whenever I see one manufacturer mocking another in an advertisement, I can’t help but embrace it to the fullest. In their latest advertisement, which could be called the sequel to their last one “Samsung Galaxy: Growing Up“, Samsung blatantly giggles at the woes of older iPhone users, having to deal with slow loading applications.

Firstly, in the 1-minute long advert, the leading lady with the iPhone 6 is shown to be hindering the long TSA security line, waiting for her boarding pass to show up on the slow-loading Wallet app. Meanwhile, a Samsung Galaxy S9 user seamlessly completes the security process without causing any sort of chaos.

It’s probably not a good idea to explain the whole advertisement and spoil the fun for you You can check it out for yourself below, and express your opinions in the commenting section.

Do you think Samsung has taken it a bit too far this time, comparing a 2018 flagship device with an iPhone that was released sometime in 2014? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
