Sony announces the release of its latest Smartphone Xperia 5 at the IFA in Berlin. It comes in a more refined and compact form than the bulky Xperia 1 that was launched early this year.
The latest Xperia 5 comes in a smaller screen than the Xperia 1. It boasts of a 6.1 inches screen, with a pixel resolution of 2520 x 1080 and OLED display, Dolby Atmos sound support to enhance your experience of watching movies and videos. It features an 8 MP front camera and a triple-lens camera at the back that can capture wide-angle and low-light shots with ease. The camera comes packed with a 2x optical zoom and a 4k movie recording feature that is a special trademark of Sony’s Xperia phones.
Xperia 5 features a Snapdragon 855 CPU, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory that can be added through a microSD card. The phone has a battery capacity of 3,140 mAh that should last you through the day.
Xperia 5 also features IP68 water and dust resistance, built-in support for PlayStation Dualshock 4 controllers that can take your gaming experience to another level.

He also said, “Xperia 5 continues to bring uncompromised performance and leading experiences to a Smartphone, only possible with Sony.”
The Xperia 5 phone will hit the stores around Europe this October. It will be priced at €799 (about US$885) and will be available in four different colors – black, blue, gray and red. It is yet to announce its release date in the US.
