If you’ve been waiting for the Android 11 update for your Sony Xperia 1 II smartphone, we have good news! Sony has started rolling out the update in batches starting with Taiwan, though you can expect it to be available in other regions anytime now.

The update bumps the build number to 58.1.A.0.921 and the download size is about 933MB. It also brings with it the latest November security patches for Sony Xperia 1 II smartphone.

The rollout goes in line with the firm’s Android 11 update roadmap released last month. As a quick recap, the roadmap suggested the Xperia 1 Mark 2 devices would start receiving the new update in December, 2020.
