A new leak, courtesy of @oneilygadget (via SumahoInfo and NotebookCheck), appears to have revealed the specs, pricing, and a possible release date of the upcoming Sony flagship phone, the Xperia 1 VII.
As per the listing, the Sony Xperia 1 Mark VII will feature a 6.5-inch 4K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 19:5:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 12MP front camera, triple rear cameras with a 48MP primary sensor, 12MP ultrawide sensor and 12MP telephoto sensor, and a 5000mAh battery.
The phone is said to be available in two memory configurations – 12GB RAM/256GB storage and 16GB RAM/512GB storage, and it will run Android 15 OS out of the box.
Finally, the leak in question reveals that the Xperia 1 VII will launch in May and could set you back $1399 for the base model — that’s hardly surprising considering it is very much in line with the usual pricing and launch window of Sony flagship handsets, including last year’s Xperia 1 VI and 2023 Xperia 1 V.
