Alongside its 2020 flagship Xperia 1 II, Sony also refreshed its Xperia 10 mid-range lineup by introducing Xperia 10 II.

In terms of specs, the phone packs a 6” OLED Full HD+ display with 21:9 aspect ratio, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3600mAh battery. There is a triple camera setup on the rear, consisting of an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 12MP main snapper, and an 8MP 2xtelephoto shooter.

Sony claims the new Xperia 10 II to be 10% lighter than last year’s model. Interestingly, the new offering is also thinner than its predecessor even with the addition of a bigger battery.

Like the Xperia 1 II, this model also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a 3.5 headphone jack, and Zeiss-branded camera sensors.

Sony has yet to reveal the price and availability of the Xperia 10 II mid-range handset.

Sony-Asia website states: “Boasting IP65/68 rating water resistance, durable Corning Gorilla Glass 6, and long battery life, the Xperia 10 II is built for worry-free use. A multi-window feature offers new ways to use your smartphone while a cinematic 21:9 Wide 6-inch OLED display makes viewing content a pleasure. You’ll also enjoy more creative freedom for photos and videos, thanks to the new triple-lens camera.”
