Sony Xperia X users are now receiving July security patch update. The update comes with build number 34.3.A.0.206.

Sony is currently rolling out the Android security patch update for the month of July to the Xperia X smartphone. The update will bump the software build version from 34.3.A.0.194 to 34.3.A.0.206. Since the update is seeding over-the-air (OTA), it may take a while before reaching your device. However, you can look for these updates manually by visiting Settings -> About Phone -> Check for updates.

The update comes packed with several bug fixes and performance improvements; weighs around 100MB in size. It is to be noted that the update is currently available only for single SIM variant (F5121), however, the dual SIM variant (F5122) and Xperia X Compact are expected to receive it soon.

Nonetheless to say, make sure your phone has at least 50% of charge before installing the update. Also, backup all your important data before you hit the download button, for obvious reasons.

Abhin’s love for all things tech started when he got his first smartphone, Galaxy S (the first), in 2010. Since then, he has been crazy about technology and tried out all major Android flagships from Samsung, and HTC. He currently uses a Google Pixel 4a as his daily driver.
