The leak just confirmed what we’ve been hearing for a long time now.
It looks like Sony Xperia XZ2 leaks are going in full swing to reveal pretty much everything about the handset before the launch. We already know its specs and potential design thanks to a stream of leaks and rumors that have been making rounds for quite some time now. However, if that didn’t convince you, a new leak courtesy of Weibo has emerged to confirm a key feature of the handset.
The latest to hit the web is a list of forthcoming smartphones that will rock Qualcomm’s recently launched Snapdragon 845 chipset. To be honest, the list is hardly surprising as it features those handsets that we’ve already come to expect to feature Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip. However, it also includes a few phones we haven’t even heard in rumors or leaks thus far.
Besides just listing the devices, the listing also suggests the possible launch date of the handsets. Speaking of which, Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ and LG G7 should be the first to feature the processor and will launch sometime in February. The next on the list in Xiaomi Mi 7 which will launch in April, followed by HTC U12 in May.
The list also goes on the confirm that OnePlus 6 will have the SD845 under its helm and that it will launch in June alongside Nubia Z18 and Xperia XZ Pro-A. Further down the list are Galaxy Note 9, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, and LG V40; all of which are expected to debut in September.
The Google PIxel 3 (and Pixel 3 XL), Nubia Z18S, HTC U12+, and Xperia XZ2 are the next series of devices to sport the SD845 chipset that will launch sometime in October. Towards the end of the list are Moto Z 2019 (November launch), OnePlus 6T (December) and Samsung’s W2019 (December).
