According to a survey, numerous consumers prefer the two-year-old Galaxy Note 5 over midrange phones of the likes of Moto G5 and ZTE Axon 7.

Based on a survey conducted by BrinkWire, it was found that a number of consumers are still interested in purchasing a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 over new budget-friendly mid-range phones such as Moto G5 and ZTE Axon 7. The survey points out that those purchasing the Note 5 either go for a used handset or a refurbished variant.

Speaking of which, you could now get a refurbished variant of the Galaxy Note 5 for as low as $200, which undoubtedly is a great deal to look for. Even with a processor from the bygone era, the performance offered by the handset is solid and has been found to be better than the affordable counterparts of the likes of Redmi Note 4.

BrinkWire’s survey also highlights that 18.7% of the buyers with a limited budget bought a Galaxy Note 5 instead of going for any recently launched budget-friendly options.

In case you didn’t know, the Galaxy Note 5, launched back in August 2015, features a 5.7-inch screen with a display resolution of 1440×2550 pixels. It is powered by octa-core Exynos 7420 processor along with 4GB RAM. The handset is available in three storage variants: 32/64/128GB.

To keep the lights on, the device is backed by a 3000mAh battery. The camera department is handled by a 16MP single sensor on the rear and a 5MP snapper on the front.
