If your TubeMate app is not downloading music, you might wanna try out this!

There is no arguing the fact that TubeMate is one of the best video downloading apps out there, but a recent update has taken away one of the best features of the Android app — music downloads. But, we probably have an easy fix to sort out the said issue.

According to users, TubeMate won’t download music anymore from YouTube thanks to some heated copyright dispute. Folks downloading songs from the popular app are treated with an error message that goes “sometimes it could be impossible”.

However, it appears that there is a way around this issue — downloading an older version of the software.

According to a tipster, TubeMate v.2.4.12 and older versions still support music downloads from YouTube and other streaming services.

TubeMate is not available for download via PlayStore, so if you’ve no clue where to get the APK, you might wanna head over to their official website. The website also lists previous versions of the app, hosted at multiple third-party download sites including Uptodown.

How to download music from TubeMate on Android?

The app is pretty easy to use, and there are two ways to download YouTube songs on TubeMate. It comes with a built-in search engine that you can use to search for songs. After finding the right one, all you need to do is click the red download button on the bottom right and select the appropriate music settings.

Otherwise, you can also copy the link of the YouTube video in question and paste it on TubeMate to get the downloading started.

Besides YouTube, the app also supports downloading videos and music from other popular streaming services including Dailymotion, Metacafe, etc.
